Waseem Qadir says he was voted by both PML-N, PTI in elections

Newly elected MNA Waseem Qadir has claimed that voters from both the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supported him in the recent general elections.

Qadir told reporters his personal standing and service record earned him cross-party backing, despite the political rivalry between the two major parties. He called his victory proof that constituents prioritized trust in individuals over party loyalty.

His statement comes amid a fluid post-election landscape, with shifting allegiances and disputes over results in several constituencies.
