Pakistan marked its Independence Day with a special ceremony honouring Field Marshal Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, and other national heroes for their services to the country.
Awards and commendations were presented for outstanding contributions in defence, public service, and national development. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the recipients’ dedication, calling them “symbols of national pride and resilience.”
