A young girl named Mirha tragically lost her life in Karachi after being struck by a stray bullet during Independence Day aerial firing celebrations.

Police confirmed that several parts of the city witnessed widespread aerial firing late on August 14, despite repeated warnings and crackdowns against the dangerous practice. Mirha, among dozens of victims, was rushed to the hospital but could not survive her injuries.
