Sindh – The Indus River is experiencing high flood levels at Guddu Barrage and medium flood levels at Sukkur Barrage, according to the Flood Forecasting Division. Authorities have warned of rising water inflows that may increase the pressure on embankments and adjoining low-lying areas.
Rescue teams and district administrations have been placed on alert, while residents in vulnerable areas near the riverbanks are being advised to take precautionary measures. Irrigation officials said the situation is being closely monitored and further updates will be issued if water levels rise.
