The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Sindh on Tuesday foiled a major terror attack planned for Youm-e-Shuhada (Martyrs’ Day) in Jamshoro by arresting three suspected terrorists.

The militants were planning to target security installations and public gatherings during the commemoration.
Explosives, weapons, and digital devices were recovered during the raid.
The suspects reportedly belong to a banned outfit and were in the final stages of planning the attack.
🛑 Preventive Action
The CTD conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Jamshoro, preventing what officials said could have been a mass-casualty event.
Investigations are underway to trace their facilitators and wider network.
