Punjab: Field Marshal on Tuesday toured flood-affected districts of Kasur, Narowal, and Sialkot, meeting displaced families and inspecting damage caused by surging river waters.
During his visit, he pledged comprehensive relief and rehabilitation, assuring residents that the Army would continue assisting with evacuations, medical aid, and food distribution.
The Field Marshal also inspected the Kartarpur Corridor, which has been impacted by the floods, and vowed to restore and revive the facilities to ensure smooth access for Sikh pilgrims once the situation stabilizes.
Authorities warn that flood levels in the Ravi and Sutlej rivers remain dangerously high, with relief efforts being scaled up across Punjab.
