A photographer unexpectedly entered the court at match point, prompting chair umpire Greg Allensworth to reward Bonzi a first serve. Medvedev hit the roof, confronting the umpire with:
“Are you a man? Why are you shaking?… He gets paid by the match, not by the hour.”
