The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has temporarily suspended operations at its centers in flood-affected districts of Punjab to ensure staff and citizens’ safety.

These districts have been hit hard by riverine flooding following heavy rains and India’s water releases into Sutlej, Ravi, and Chenab rivers.

🔒 NADRA’s Statement

Services will remain suspended until water recedes and conditions stabilize.
Mobile registration vans will be deployed in safer zones to assist affected residents.
Urgent cases (like CNIC renewal or lost CNICs for relief assistance) will be prioritized once centers reopen.

🤝 Relief Coordination

NADRA is working with NDMA, PDMA, and local authorities to help ensure that flood victims can still access identity verification for relief distribution.
