Nationwide polio vaccination campaign launched across 99 districts

A nationwide anti-polio drive has been launched across 99 districts to protect millions of children from the crippling disease.

  • Coverage: 99 districts across all four provinces, GB, AJK, and Islamabad.

  • Target: Over 43 million children under the age of five to receive oral polio vaccine (OPV).

  • 350,000 health workers & volunteers deployed door-to-door.

  • Police and law enforcement agencies deployed to provide security to polio teams in sensitive areas.

  • Monitoring cells established to ensure uninterrupted operations.
