Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) has said that the people of Balochistan are increasingly rejecting terrorism and standing alongside security forces in restoring peace to the province.
In a statement on Friday, the DG ISPR noted that public cooperation with law enforcement agencies has played a vital role in recent counter-terrorism operations. He added that terrorist elements, supported by foreign handlers, are being isolated as locals extend full support to the state.
Highlighting the sacrifices of both civilians and security personnel, the military spokesperson said Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from every corner of the country.
He emphasized that Balochistan’s stability is essential for Pakistan’s economic progress and regional connectivity, particularly under projects linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The remarks come amid a series of successful operations in the province, underscoring what the DG ISPR called a “decisive shift” in public sentiment against militancy.
