Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to visit China from August 30 to September 4, 2025, to attend the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of State Summit in Tianjin.
🔹 Key Details
Summit Participation: PM Shehbaz will join leaders from China, Russia, India, Iran, and other SCO members to deliberate on regional security, economic cooperation, counter-terrorism, and connectivity projects.
Bilateral Meetings: He will hold high-level talks with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to strengthen Pakistan-China strategic and economic ties, especially under CPEC Phase II.
Economic Outreach: The PM will attend the Pakistan–China B2B Investment Conference in Beijing and interact with Chinese investors to attract new projects in energy, infrastructure, and technology.
Military Parade: Shehbaz Sharif will also participate in a commemorative military parade in Beijing, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
