The Punjab government has announced that schools and colleges across the province will reopen in phases to ensure student safety and manage crowding.
According to the education department, the reopening plan will begin with senior classes returning first, followed by middle and primary grades in subsequent weeks. Colleges and universities will also resume under the phased schedule.
Officials said strict COVID-19 SOPs—including mask-wearing, social distancing, and staggered attendance—will be enforced. The phased reopening aims to balance academic continuity with health precautions.
