Sindh CM, fed minister Aleem Khan discuss M-6, M-10 projects

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan held a meeting on Tuesday to review progress and coordination on key motorway projects in Sindh, particularly the M-6 (Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway) and M-10 (Karachi Northern Bypass).

  • M-6 Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway

    • Both sides reaffirmed commitment to expedite work on the 296 km long project, a crucial missing link of the Karachi–Peshawar corridor.

    • CM Shah stressed the importance of addressing land acquisition, financing hurdles, and ensuring timely completion.

  • M-10 Karachi Northern Bypass

    • Upgradation and expansion of M-10 were discussed to ease traffic congestion in Karachi.

    • The CM highlighted the need to strengthen connectivity between the Karachi Port, industrial areas, and highways.

🤝 Federal–Provincial Coordination

  • Minister Aleem Khan assured the federal government’s full support in resolving bottlenecks and providing resources.
