Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Thursday that the provincial government is closely monitoring the evolving flood situation and is fully engaged in relief and rescue efforts.
📍 Current Situation
Floodwaters from Punjab are moving towards Sindh, raising alarm in districts along the Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri barrages.
Authorities have declared high alert in low-lying and riverine areas.
Irrigation teams are strengthening embankments and bunds to minimize damage.

Sindh govt, along with NDMA, PDMA, and Pakistan Army, is carrying out evacuation and relief operations.
Medical teams and mobile units have been deployed in flood-prone districts.
