🚦 Traffic Plan Issued for 12 Rabi-ul-Awal Processions in Karachi
The Karachi Traffic Police has released a comprehensive traffic plan to ensure smooth flow during 12 Rabi-ul-Awal processions across the city.
📍 Main Processions
The central procession will start from M.A. Jinnah Road and culminate at Nishtar Park.
Multiple smaller processions will merge with the main route from different areas including Kharadar, Lyari, Saddar, and Gurumandir.
🚗 Road Closures & Diversions
M.A. Jinnah Road will remain closed for all traffic from morning till night.
Traffic from Saddar will be diverted towards Shahrah-e-Faisal and Soldier Bazaar.
Vehicles from Garden and Gurumandir will be rerouted to Jail Road and Teen Hatti.
Nishtar Park area will be a no-entry zone for all unauthorized vehicles.
🅿️ Parking Arrangements
Designated parking spots have been allocated near KMC Ground, Soldier Bazaar, and Lines Area.
No parking will be allowed along the procession routes.
🚔 Security & Monitoring
Thousands of police and Rangers personnel will be deployed.
CCTV monitoring and walkthrough gates to be installed at key entry points.
