Two-day holiday announced in Sindh on occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi

The Sindh government has announced a two-day public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal).

📍 Details:

  • Holidays will be observed on Sunday, September 14, 2025, and Monday, September 15, 2025.

  • All government offices, autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under Sindh will remain closed, except those engaged in essential services.

  • Educational institutions across the province will also remain closed on these dates.

Background:
Eid Milad un Nabi is celebrated to mark the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The government usually declares a public holiday on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, but this year Sindh has extended it to two days.
